Core display function
Vehicle speed and engine speed: The main display area clearly displays the current vehicle speed and engine speed, and the tachometer can reach up to 7000 rpm.
Driving mode indicator: The central area displays the current driving mode (such as ECO PRO, COMFORT, SPORT, M SPORT, M1/M2 custom mode), and the backlight may change color in some modes (such as sports mode turning red)
Gear information: In M/S mode, the instrument panel will display prompts such as “S1” and “S2”, indicating that the transmission is in sport mode and delaying gear shifts
Navigation and speed limit information: supports real-time navigation arrows, remaining distance, intersection prompts, and current road speed limit values. Some information can also be displayed synchronously through HUD head up display
Vehicle status monitoring:
Real time display of key parameters such as water temperature, oil temperature, fuel quantity, battery voltage, etc
Support tire pressure monitoring (RPA system), if you need to view specific tire pressure values, you can install RDC sensors
High performance exclusive features (F90 M5)
Shift indicator light: During M mode or intense driving, there is a shift indicator light on the top of the instrument panel, indicating the best time to upshift
GTS exclusive graphical interface: M5 CS and other high-performance versions adopt customized instrument layout, such as prominent water injection system status display to remind drivers whether the performance enhancement system is activated or not
M Power HUD linkage: Combined with the original factory optional head up display system (HUD), it can synchronously display information such as speed bar, current gear, vehicle speed, speed limit, etc., improving the efficiency of information acquisition during track or high-speed driving
